Occupational Therapist – Clinic Based

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our clinic-based interdisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to provide direct treatment to a diverse pediatric caseload. You will have the opportunity to provide individualized, evidence-informed assessment and intervention across a broad range of occupational therapy needs, while consulting closely with families and other professionals. Clients can be long or short term.

Your caseload may include the following populations/presenting concerns: 

• children with developmental and physical disabilities (FSCD)
• children who have experienced complex developmental trauma
• sensory regulation
• fine and gross motor development
• emotional regulation 
• mental health
• life skills
• executive functioning 
• social and play skills
• self care (i.e., feeding, dressing, toileting, sleep)

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about pediatric practice, values collaboration, and enjoys working with children and families with diverse and complex needs. The ideal candidate is flexible, creative, and committed to providing individualized, relationship-based, trauma-informed care. Experience with pediatric occupational therapy, developmental disabilities, sensory processing, and trauma-informed practice is an asset.
